Civil Partnership Bill
July 8, 2010 on 12:09 pm | In Civil Partnership | No CommentsThis week was a momentous week in the Seanad where we passed the Civil Partnership and Certain Rights and Obligations of Cohabitants Bill.
The Bill represents an historic step forward for this country in affording new rights to same sex couples.
Unfortunately however the Bill fails to secure legal rights for the children of same sex couples and Fine Gael has called on the Government to address this issue.
