Questions now being raised about derelict buildings demolished in good faith

Green TD Ciaran Cuffe has called for the reconstruction of derelict buildings which were demolished in good faith at Carlisle Pier in Dun Laoghaire, if it transpires that the works were carried out without proper permission.

This is absurd and demonstrate a frightening lack of clear thinking from the Dun Laoghaire Green Deputy.

“Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is to spend up to €2 million on the redesign of Blackrock Park and the green spaces at Williamstown and Booterstown.” This was stated by Cllr. Eugene Regan (FG), Cathaoirleach of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, who tabled a motion last year calling for this redesign work to be undertaken by the Council.
