January 5, 2006 on 11:01 am | In Local, Maintenance, News | No Comments“Following a survey earlier this year which showed the extent of the problem of blocked roadside drains in the Dun Laoghaire area a budgetary allocation of €50,000 has being secured in the 2006 Budget of the Council to address this problem.” This was stated by Local Councillor Eugene Regan (FG), who personally carried out the survey in the Dun Laoghaire Ward area and found 417 drains out of a total of 1,000 examined completely blocked.
