Local update
June 1, 2006 on 9:50 pm | In Community, Local | No CommentsMy work as a councillor has focused on the following areas: the reinstatement of the Dalkey No. 8 Bus, ensuring a sensitive approach to the redevelopment of Dun Laoghaire Baths, a new systematic approach to the maintainence and unblocking of roadside drains and the promotion of business in the area. I have also secured results for my constituents on a range of issues including: traffic calming, synchronisation of traffic lights on Blackrock’s Rock Road and the Stillorgan dual carriageway, completion of the Community Centre and demolition of the flats at Fitzgerald Park in Mounttown, Village improvement scheme for Sallynoggin and a more stringent control of town planning.
