Blackrock ‘Rock Road’ QBC Won’t be Closed to Cars for Years

“The Blackrock ‘Rock Road’ Quality bus corridor will remain open to traffic until there is an adequate fleet of buses to service it.” This was stated by Councillor Eugene Regan (FG) and General Election candidate for Dun Laoghaire.

Cllr. Regan stated that “as Cathaoirleach of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, I am determined to ensure that we do not operate the Blackrock Rock QBC without buses to service it. I am pleased that the Council has accepted my proposal that the QBC will not be closed to private traffic without the Council’s being satisfied that there are adequate buses to justify its operation, “ Cllr.
