Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council Unique in Freezing Commercial Rates For 2007

“Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council will not increase commercial rates in 2007 in order to promote business in the County.” This was stated by Cllr. Eugene Regan Cathaoirleach of the Council and Dail Candidate (FG), following the adoption of the Council’s Budget this week.

He stated that “ the new annual rate of valuation fixed by the Council for 2007 now compares very favourably with other local authorities and for the first time is below the rate of neighbouring South Dublin County.
