Cathaoirleach Eugene Regan elected National candidate In June 2006 Eugene won the Fine Gael Dáil Nomination for Dún Laoghaire at the Party’s Selection Convention with more votes than all other candidates combined. “In June, I was elected a Fine Gael candidate for the Dáil and Cathaoirleach of the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
