“Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has formally adopted this week a variation of its county development plan to prevent residential development on open green spaces”. This was stated by Cllr. Eugene Regan Cathaoirleach of the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Council and General Election candidate (FG), who welcomed the support for his initiative of last year to secure the protection of green spaces within the County. “The people of Dun Laoghaire are to be consulted on whether or not to open its main street once again to private cars or to extend pedestrianisation of the town centre.” This was stated by Cllr.
